Addressing equity and diversity. A community project designed to discover the importance of respect and cooperation needed amongst community members. This project helped blur the lines between the diverse social, racial, ethnic, gender roles as well as academic levels present within our classroom.

This project demonstrates how student choice and interest can be seen as a method of differentiation and increases motivation and engagement. A project with Kindergarteners to explore where we are place and time.
How We Express Ourselves
A project for deeper understanding. Using our senses to experience the world around us with an emphasis on developing empathy and tolerance for the people around us. Student reflection was woven throughout this project and was the foundation for our final product.
