I have a diverse classroom of 22 students that is full of various levels and individual experiences. My hope is for these kids to blur the lines of differences and support one another where each child is at. I want them to respect one another and appreciate each child for their individuality. With our school's rich units of inquiry and a classroom full of diversity I'm extremely interested in increasing peer conversation and providing opportunities for students to really take ownership of their own learning. I hope by removing myself as a central figure in my classroom students will recognize their peers as vital members of our community that can be a source for a lot of knowledge. My journey will include projects and opportunities with various entry points for all learners, so that each student will be challenged and excited about their learning.
